Camp Gramma comes to an end

our annual walk over the highway 61 bridge
we got lot's of honkers

we did a small program at my Dad's church Wednesday night
each year on the last night of Camp Gramma we have a bonfire
molly and ethan were best buds
our last "camp meeting" my parents did something really neat this year, they went around and talked about each grandchild pointing out special qualities, strengths, ect. and encouraging them. Watching the kids faces while they talked proved that the kids LOVED it!
trey, while being talked about
a little smoky, but avery being talked about
ethan listening intently while being talked about
raegan perked up to see what gramma had to say about her
and last but certainly not least...marshmallows!

I'm very thankful that my parents started having "camp gramma" It takes a lot of time, energy, money, and work on the part of my parents but the kids are going to have lasting memories! It's not very often that all of the cousins get to be together so "camp gramma is anxiously awaited each year.

I think "Camp Grandma" is an awesome idea! How long has your Mom been doing this? It just sounds like so much fun.
