I have really been a slacker lately in getting my blog posts onto the blog so as i am sitting up to go get my sister and family from the airport in the middle of the night i thought i could play catch up a little.
At the end of May we went down to my parents for the annual Camp Gramma.
The kids are always super excited about hanging out with cousins. My parents are very organized and have a schedule lined out, t-shirts, camp sign, a ton of food, and a backyard full of tents and activities galore.
First up was a camp meeting where the kids received their t-shirts.
Pizza, if anyone knows Avery they know she can put away some pizza!
Of course there were smores...
The kids sang at my Dad's church on Sunday morning
Avery making use of a little down time doing one of her favorite things
and of course the kids got to cool off a lot...
No one ever goes hungry when my Dad is around...
Raegan having a little zip line fun...
Do i need to even give this picture a caption???
All lined up and ready to interview...one thing we did while we were there was watch some old video footage of previous camp grammas when the kids were younger. We asked them questions and it was so cute to see their answers so we wanted to get all the kids talking on video so that we can watch more down the road. So, we grouped them up somewhat by ages. This is the youngest group being interviewed...
It was a great few days. Always love the camp meeting and the things my parents are able to share with the grandkids. I know it has got to completely wear my parents out but they give their all the whole time and make it such a fun and memorable time for all the kids! Thank you Grampa and Gramma!

I always enjoy hearing about Camp Gramma each year! Your parents really do a great job organizing it. Congratulations to them being married for 45 years!!! I love the tree-house that they built. I bet the kids really enjoyed it :)
This is SUCH a neat idea!! I bet this is the highlight of your parents' year! (I know when I'm a grandparent, it certainly would be for me!).
You did such a nice job, Lisa! We are happy we started doing this quite a few years ago.
