Enrolled In School

Trey and Avery are officially Meadow Lane Elementary Mustangs! I went to enroll the kids in school today at the school in our neighborhood. When we were almost all finished i was talking with the secretary about our transfer request because she was asking where they would be going. I was saying how we wouldn't know till right before school started and she said why don't you just go over to Meadow Lane (this is one of the schools we requested the transfer to) and talk to the principal because it's my husband and he may just put you in. So we headed over there and talked with him and he accepted our transfer as long as we were ok with Avery being in afternoon kindergarten because their are only 13 in the afternoon classes and the mornings are full. I talked to Johnny and we decided that was fine so i went back and picked up all my papers from where i started and came back to Meadow lane and got enrolled. Johnny and i have been praying that God would lead in this and i felt like it all just came together this morning, so i'm sure the Lord's hand was in all of it! SOOO the school is exactly 5 miles from our house so not bad at all. We go for a social on the 14th of Aug. to meet teachers and see the classrooms and then school starts the 16th. The kids will be learning Spanish this year because Olathe is launching a Spanish program and Meadow Lane is a pilot school for the program. I am very relieved to finally know where they will be going even though our first choice would be Christian School, I think this is a good school and everyone seemed really nice.
